Dating Russian women is very different than dating western women. While this statement seems obvious, most men forget about the cultural differences once they start communicating with various ladies. Many men are inclined to brag while dating Russian women. It is true that Russian women want a man who can offer stability yet writing a letter which lists your accomplishments will sound insincere. Keep in mind that Russians are much more formal than westerners. You should always use a woman’s full name and refrain from taking on a too friendly tone. Instead, flatter the woman while showing you respect her. When dating Russian women in person, never forget that chivalry isn’t dead! Slavic women still expect that men hold the door open for them, take their coat and usually expect the man to pay for dinner. While western women might consider this a breech on their feminism, Russian women consider this good manners and a sign of respect.
